Regina (Champa) Craig

Craig, Regina (Champa) of Peabody, formerly of Revere, passed away from complications of Alzheimer's on April 23, 2022 at the age of 82. Born in Revere on July 14, 1939, Regina was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Flora (Marconi) Champa and the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Craig. She was also the dear sister of the late Richard I. Champa. Regina grew up in Revere. She graduated from Revere High School and then from Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School. She worked for many years at Atlas Glen-Mor Oil as an executive secretary. Regina will be remembered most for her deep love of family and friends. She was a big Red Sox fan from the time she was a teenager and also loved skiing, ice skating, knitting and sewing. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to her three grandchildren. She was exceptionally kind and giving and will be missed by many. Regina leaves behind her daughter, Lisa A. Craig and partner Diana Beauchamp of Peabody; her son, William Craig of Manchester, NH; her daughter, Christine M. Craig and wife Nancy Harrington of Newburyport; and her daughter-in-law Maria Craig of Tewksbury. She also leaves her three cherished grandchildren, Giana, Sofia and Samuel Craig. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Congregational Church of Topsfield, 9 E. Common St on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 9:00am to 10:00am followed by a Service at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery in Topsfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Regina's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
