Regina Iraola

Regina Iraola, of Winthrop, passed away August 28, 2021 at the age of 71. The daughter of the late Benito Iraola and Elena Romero, Regina was one of ten siblings. She was the cherished mother of Caridad Morales of Brockton, Jose Morales and his wife Frances of Amesbury and Aracelia Lombay of Brockton. Adored mamá/hina to 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Regina was born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico and moved to Chelsea in 1988. She worked as a seamstress for various companies throughout the area. In addition to being devoted to her children and grandchildren, she always had an affinity for her pets, whether they be dogs, cats or birds. She absolutely loved her animals. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Between the family, music and food, there was a glow on her face that could not be matched. In her healthier years, she was determined to make the best of life, no matter what it took. She was a fighter, through and through. A visitation will be held in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons ~ Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. At the family’s request, remembrances may be made in Regina’s name to the MSPCA, Attn: Donations, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130
