“Rev” Timothy William Means passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Lynn, Massachusetts on Tuesday, July 23rd. Born in Canton, Ohio, Tim was the son of Ella Fales and Floyd Means, grandson of William (deceased) and Linda Fales of Canton Ohio, and Floyd and Priscilla Means (both deceased). He acquired a love for travel and exploration growing up in Texas, Hawaii and Maryland during his mother’s military career. He then resided in Ohio, Florida and Massachusetts making lasting friendships everywhere he went.
Tim enjoyed exploring nature, family history, ancient mysteries, and a wide range of non-traditional spirituality and metaphysical subjects. His passion for helping others and interest in self-healing led him to becoming a holistic practitioner and clergy with the Universal Life Church. He used that passion to advocate for the homeless community to improve the quality of housing facilities.
Tim was father to a son Blake Ferris and daughter Kyia Means. He was considered a “bonus dad” and deeply cherished by Amethyst Troy and her children Jadalyn Godfrey and Luka Troy. He will be missed by many siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be no traditional public services. Instead, his children wish that you celebrate his life in your own way on his birthday, Aug 4th. A private Celebration of Life will be scheduled for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers please consider volunteering or donating at your local homeless facility or plant a tree.
