Stanley, Richard L. Sr of Revere suddenly on Oct 1st. Beloved father of Richard Stanley of Wolfeboro NH, Melissa Gruner and her husband Jason of Louisville KY and the late US Army, Cpl Matthew J. Stanley (KIA Iraq 2006) and his surviving wife Amy of Plymouth. Loving son of the late Richard and Marjorie (Flanagan) Stanley. Dear brother of Robert and his wife Donna of Saugus, Debi Stanley of Revere, Marjorie Carroll and her husband Lawrence of Lynnfield and Ronald of Revere. Also survived by his loving grandchild Hadley Gruner of KY and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation will take place in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere on Thursday Oct 9th from 4 – 7 pm followed by a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Richard was an active outdoors man who enjoyed fishing, hunting and trap shooting. He was a member of the Danvers Fish & Game Club, Broad sound Tuna Club, MA Amateur Trapshooting Assoc and the Silver Dollar Trap & Golf of Odessa FL. He was also an avid Card Player with a top 10 finish in a WPT World Poker Finals and a member of the Revere Moose and VFW Mottolo Post. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cpl Matthew J.
