Robert John Coscia

Coscia, Robert John of Revere passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 6, 2018. Beloved husband of 57 years to Frances (Buckley) Coscia. Devoted father of Nicholas Coscia and wife Marianne of Stoneham, Robert Coscia of Revere, and Christopher Coscia and wife Stefani of Wakefield. Adoring grandfather of Nicholas, David and Eli Coscia. Dear brother of Carmela Coscia of Stoneham, Richard Coscia and wife Scarlett of Revere, and the late Joseph, Jennie Anzuoni, Josephine Reppucci and her surviving husband John, Eugene, Phyllis, Anthony, Dante and his surviving wife Marie, Gloria Gazo, Gilda, and Phillip. Dear brother-in-law of Jane Palumbo, Edward Buckley and Eileen Buckley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After serving his country Robert received his BS from Fitchburg State and his Master’s in Education at Boston State. He retired as an Assistant Superintendent of Revere Public Schools. He taught adult education in woodworking at Revere High School and was a former member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association and the American Federation of School Administrator. A visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 9:00am to 11:30 am followed by a Memorial Mass at St. Anthony’s Church at 12:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
