Pugliese, Robert “Bobby” Jr. of Revere passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 11, 2018. Bobby was born in the West End of Boston on August 16, 1941 to the late Robert Sr. and Mildred (Roberts) Pugliese. Beloved husband of Bridget (Carnazzo) Pugliese. Devoted father of Edward Pugliese of Arlington, Deborah Isaac-Pugliese and husband Alejandro of Beverly, Christine Neubert and husband Bobby of Lynn, Robyn Diaz-Gonzalez and husband Jaime of Charlotte NC, Stacey Dupuis and husband Peter of Bolton, Lisa Carcione of Chelsea, and Tina DeAlmeida of Revere. Cherished grandfather of 14, adoring great grandfather of 2 and one on the way. Caring godfather of Ariela Esmurria. Dear brother of Francis Pugliese, Catherine Pugliese, and the late William Pugliese, Dennis Pugliese, and Mildred Lynch. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Bobby worked for the MBTA before his retirement. He was a member of the Legion, the Elks and the Local 589. Bobby’s passion was horse racing and enjoyed all Boston sports teams. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Wednesday January 17, 2018 at 10:00am. Funeral Mass at St Anthony’s Church at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
