Rose Muscarella

November 11, 1931 — June 21, 2022

Muscarella , Rose – of the North End of Boston, on June 21, 2022. Born in the North End of Boston on November 11, 1931, to the late Vincent and Victoria (Valente) Muscarella. Rose was the sister of Irene Sarno of Boston, Sally Jackiewicz of Revere and the late Louis Muscarella and his wife Noreen of Charlestown. She was also a very dedicated aunt to her nieces and nephews, who meant the world to her. The North End was Rose’s paradise; it's where she lived her entire life; she taught ceramics in the community for many years, where she made a variety of life-long friends. Rose was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of St. Leonard-Port Maurice Church. She dedicated her life to caring for others, helping to raise her nephews and as a loving caretaker to her mother for many years; Rose always gave herself fully to the needs of those whom she loved. Rose was a very charismatic woman who was constantly breaking out in song or a dance; She certainly had a song for everything, and always with the timing of a professional! Rose was loved beyond measure and will be missed whole-heartedly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:00am in St. Leonard-Port Maurice Church 320 Hanover St, Boston, MA 02113 (everyone to meet directly at church). Relatives and friends are kindly invited. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Rose's name to St Leonard-Port Maurice Parish.
