Ruth Irene Malio, born on September 8, 1925, in Everett, Massachusetts, returned to her maker on August 25, 2024. She was a remarkable woman, known for her loving nature, supportive disposition, and funny anecdotes that brought joy to everyone around her. Ruth spent her professional life as a dedicated bank teller, lending a helping hand to countless individuals in the community. A quote that aptly describes her life is, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years."
Ruth was a widow, having lost her beloved husband, Gerard Malio. She leaves behind her devoted children, Diane Malio and Gerald Malio, who will forever cherish the memories of their loving mother. Ruth's life was further enriched by her seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, to whom she was a source of endless love, happiness, and inspiration. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Sadie Corey, whose values she carried forward in her life and her late brother Harold Corey and late sister Jean Walker.
Ruth was a beacon of love, laughter, and support, and to honor her memory, we invite those who knew her to share their memories and upload photos to the memorial page. Your stories and pictures will stand as a testament to Ruth's vibrant life and the indelible touch she left on all our hearts.
