Saverio E. Maddalone

Saverio Maddalone of East Boston, entered into rest on November 17, 2023 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Lucy Maddalone (Sirignano). Devoted father of Laurie Scorzella and Frank Maddalone.

Cherished grandfather of Alessandra and Victoria Scorzella. The loving brother of Frank Maddalone and the late Rose Tacelli and Philip Maddalone. Cherish brother in law to Paul Sirignano, Lia Colarusso, Rosalba Aylwin, and Carmellina Petrillo. He was also a uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dear son of the late Frank and Carmela Maddalone.

He grew up in East Boston, graduated from East Boston High School class of 1960, and raised his family in Revere, MA.

He was a longshoreman at International Longshoreman Association where his colleagues knew his as “Scar” He worked for the company up until retirement. He was a friend to everyone who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Saverio's memory to a charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held at Saint Joseph & Lazarus Church 59. Ashley Street, East Boston, MA 02128 on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 10:00AM.
