Victor R. Restaino

Restaino, Victor R. of Saugus formerly of Everett and Revere on May 13th. Son to the late Anthony and Rose (DiCesare). Victor cherished his wife Lena “Lee” (Aldorisio) for 68 years. Beloved father of Robert and his wife Diane of Saugus, Gary of Florida and the late Keith and his wife Betsy Solino. Brother to the late Carmine, Alphonse, Louis, Anthony, Stella and Theresa. Brother-in-law to Barbara Aldorisio. Adoring grandfather of Christopher and his wife Danielle, Jonathan and his wife Stacie, Stephen, Gina and her husband Matt, Justin and his wife Kim, Matthew, Ross and wife Alyssa and the late Victor II. Great-grandfather of Joseph, Giuliana and Michaela. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Victor was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and a veteran of WWII. He was proud of his time in the Army and relished in telling war stories. He was Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 51. For many years, Victor was part of the Holy Name Society at St. Anthony’s Church in Revere and St. Theresa’s in Everett. Lee and Victor spent many winters at their home in Florida. While at home, he savored many great meals cooked by Lee. He also loved her baking, even the accidentally burnt cookies. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere Street, Revere on Wednesday, May 18th at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in the St Anthony’s Church at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery.
