John R. Belmonte of Saugus, formerly of Revere and East Boston died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, at 88 years old. Beloved husband of Gloria Belmonte with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Loving Father of Darleen (Wayne) Terminello of Nahant, John (Jeanne) Belmonte of Burlington, Denise (Todd) Plotkin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Doreen Belmonte of Mill Valley, CA, and Laureen (John) Federico of Belmont. Dear Brother of Mary Tutrone and Anna Lionetta, and the late Agostino Belmonte and Joseph Belmonte. Cherished Grandfather of 6 and Great Grandfather of 2. Along with many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Thursday November 9, 2017 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass at St Anthony’s Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
