Margaret C Ambrosino

April 21, 1926 — February 8, 2019

Ambrosino, Margaret C. (Margareci) of Revere, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital following a brief illness. She is the beloved wife of 64 years to Frederick J. Ambrosino (Retired Lt RPD). Devoted mother of Paul Ambrosino and his wife Joan of Peabody, and Thomas Ambrosino and his partner Laurie Giardella of Nahant. Margaret is a loving and cherished grandmother to Brianna, Brittany, and Alexandra and great granddaughter, Olivia. She is the dear sister of the late Angelina Margareci, Josephine Margareci, and Mary Aufiero. Margaret is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Margaret was born and raised in East Boston. She is the daughter of the late Antonio and Lillian (Mossara) Margareci. In 1954 she married the love of her life, Frederick and they began their life together. They settled in Revere to raise their children, Paul and Thomas. Margaret was active with her children, grandchildren and community. She worked for many years as a hostess at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center. Family & friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral mass celebrating Margaret’s life at the Immaculate Conception Church, Revere, on Wednesday, February 13th at 10:30 am, with an Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leonard Florence Center for Living, 165 Captains Row, Chelsea, MA 02150.
