Paul and his brother Victor are responsible for the overall operation of the family business, The biggest challenge is constantly making company changes to reflect current attitudes and perceptions of what a funeral is now versus what it will look like in the future. Paul finds it a priority to remain active in the community. Paul is a graduate of Revere High School and the New England Institute at Mount Ida College He also belongs to a number of organizations. Paul met his wife Stacey (Chamberlin) in high school. They have 3 children, Paul S. Buonfiglio, Alexandra Buonfiglio, and Ava Buonfiglio as well as 3 grandchildren, Roman, Lorenzo and Paul Vincent. When not working, Paul enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as time on the Cape boating and fishing.
Victor is a 4th generation funeral director and has been running the family business along with his father and brother Paul since 1995.
Victor graduated from Revere High School and attended Mount Ida Colledge. He and his wife Carrie and have three children; Victoria, Victor Jr., and Nicholas.
During his spare time, he enjoys boating and spending time with his family.
After serving in the United States Navy from 2015-2020, Paul returned home to join the Revere Fire Department and become a 5th generation Funeral Director. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Business from Assumption University and then received an associates degree in Funeral Services from North Shore Community College.
Paul loves working in the community as a firefighter and is also proud to continue the family business.
Joel joined Buonfiglio Funeral Home in 2017. Born and raised in Northern California, Joel graduated from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science and started his funeral career in the central valley of CA. He wanted to further his education in the profession so he moved to Newton in 2005 to attend Mount Ida College where he received his Bachelors Degree in Mortuary Management. While at Mount Ida Joel met his wife, Samantha, where she was receiving her degree in veterinary science.
The two currently live on the North Shore raising their twins Connor and Makenzie and their dog Porter. He enjoys traveling to see his family and the annual tribal trip of The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, of which he is a member. On his days off he likes spending time with his wife and kids going on adventures in and around the city of Boston. In his free time he is outdoors with his children doing everything from riding bikes, to yard work and sporting events.
Paul Buonfiglio Jr. took over the business in 1972 after the unexpected death of his father. After more then 30 years of owning and operating the Funeral home, he has semi-retired. Still Living in Revere with his wife Mary, (Mancini) they enjoy spending the winter months in Florida.
Manny is originally from El Salvador, he arrived to the United States when he was 18 years old. He has always had a passion for helping the Latino community. After knocking on so many doors, the Buonfiglio family opened a path to help him grow professionally in the funeral industry. Manny is also excited to be able to advocate for and serve the Latino community.
Manny and his wife, Leidy, live in Lowell where they are raising their children, Caroline, Camille, and Manuel Jr. with their grandma, Maria, and their little dog, Mango. Manny loves nature and enjoys taking the family on their annual camping trip. On his time off, Manny enjoys watching movies with the family and going out to discover new adventures.
Beverly Bruno Collins graduated from New England Institute and became a licensed Funeral Director in 1967. She worked for her father “Larry” Bruno for many years before taking over their Bruno Funeral Home. She successfully operated her families business until eventually merging with the Buonfiglio Family in 2004.
Marissa was born and raised from a large Italian family. Grew up in Medford, MA. She went to Medford High Vocational Technical school up until 10th grade, at that point she had moved to the North Shore and finished High school at Salem High graduating in 2007.
In 2017 she decided to pursue a career in Funeral service. She attended FINE mortuary college where she graduated and obtained an associates degree in applied sciences.
Marissa still lives in Salem where she is raising her son Gianni whom is her pride and joy. In her free time she enjoys spending time at the local beaches, bicycling, vacationing when she can and spending time with her friends and family.
