They relocated to Somerville, MA where they were raised. Elena married her beloved, the late Joseph James Caturano on December 9, 1951. Elena was the Caturano family matriarch, a kind and loving soul who always made everyone feel special. She carried herself with the utmost poise, grace and dignity. Elena was a wonderful cook and avid shopper. She worked as a house wife and official family babysitter throughout her years. Elena especially loved to be involved in the lives of all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was famous for her eggplant parmigiana, pizzelles, home-made pasta and chicken cutlets. Elena loved passing on her love of cooking and family traditions to her family.
