Dear Josie's family... I grew up on Thorndike St. (next street over from you) and for a great part of my life Josie was always there. I have the fondest memories of her. WE had a lovely friendship and for many years in the good old days we used to meet at Sunnyhurst. She was always, most always, raving about her children and grandchildren...her family! She Loved you all SO MUCH! I always enjoyed being with her and around her. She was a very special person. And those are not just words. Anyone who knew her knows what I am talking about. She always made me feel good and always was exceptionally kind. That Is what I remember the most about her....her kindness and her sense of humor. I really miss her and cried when I heard the news of her passing. I gave her a ride to church not that long ago and like I said, I just loved being with her. She's a doll!!! with love always, Renee (Helen and Dom's niece from Thorndike Street). That part of Revere in those days was the BEST....we are all blessed to have been raised there. Long Live the Spirit of Josie...and we know it will. I will miss you my friend. Thank you for always being so kind... Amen.

One of a kind! Most precious Aunt, Great-Aunt, Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Cousin and Friend to SO many!!! A HEART OF GOLD!! There are no words to express the magnitude of the loss for all of us who knew and LOVE HER, for to know HER was definitely to LOVE HER...a LOVE that will never die... Nor can we capture in words what a great influence, and loving, kind-spirited and FUN HUMAN BEING SHE was! While we celebrate her truly meaningful and generous Life, I, for one, will try to be more like my Beautiful Auntie Josie, "Mauntie" as I caught myself calling her lately, for SHE was as close to my Mother as one could be... My LOVE and prayers to Uncle Carmine and my Precious Cousins! GOD BLESS YOU all, and GOD BLESS YOU, AUNTIE... MAY ETERNAL PEACE BE YOURS... I LOVE YOU JOSEPHINE BLANDINO MICCIULLA, FOREVER!!!! <3
