DeLeo, Thelma (Dondero) of Los Angeles formerly of Revere and Winchester passed away on May 28, 2022 at the age of 96.  Born in Chelsea on July 7, 1925 to the late Louis P. Dondero and Adeline (DiPesa).  Beloved wife of the late Michael DeLeo Sr.  Devoted mother of  Dr. Michael J. DeLeo Jr. and his wife Marka of Pittsfield, and Dr. Paula Gaut and her husband Kevin of Los Angeles, CA.  Cherished grandmother of Dr. Michael DeLeo III and his wife Susan, Dr. Charlotte DeLeo and her husband Dr. Scott Walrath, Ryder DeLeo, Eliot DeLeo and his fiancé Erica Filiault, Dr. Daria Gaut and her fiancé John Potok, and Andrew Gaut.  Adored great grandmother of Isabelle, Bridie, and Charlotte.  Dear sister of the late Louis P. Dondero and his late wife Bernice.  Also survived by her loving niece Lisa Dondero Brengola and her husband Andrew and their daughter Alissa. A graduate of Emmanuel College, she was a beloved first grade teacher in the City of Everett for 40 years. She will be remembered for her tremendous love, strength, wisdom, generosity, and humility and will be greatly missed. Funeral Mass from St. Anthony’s Church 250 Revere St, Revere on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 10:00am (Everyone to meet directly to church).  Relatives and friends are kindly invited.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Thelma’s name to the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress.
