Dear Josie, I was thinking of you and Emilio today and did a search on my computer and found that Emilio had just passed. I am so very sorry for your loss, he was such a sweet man. I keep this photo in my home as a remembrance of the great friendship. Love and hugs to you and your family ~ Marina Federico Meehan

A wonderful kind man. Always respectful. I remember his wonderful smile when he greeted me. I am sorry to learn of his passing. His family is in my thoughts and prayers. Frank Federico, Reading MA.

My memory of Emilio is my father and him sitting on the bench in our yard. They would reminisce about the old days. He would also supply me with basil from his beautiful garden. We lived two houses down from Josie & Emilio, so we grew up with their children. The best times when Josie & Emilio, Carmine & Vienna would come and sit with my mother and father under our grapevine. The vino was flowing, music was playing and many conversations were going at once. I will treasure those memories. He was a true gentleman. Rest In Peace .

My Dearest Father, You meant the world to me. You were the strongest and smartest of them all. You always took the time to listen and teach me everything I know. I never remember you being ill or missing a day of work. You cherished your family and would do anything for them. I will miss you dearly but know you will always be in my heart. Love you always and forever. Rest In Peace. Your Daughter Diane.

There are far too many funny and poignant stories to share about Emilio....the things I will always remember most is your strength, both physical and mental, your endless thirst for knowledge, your deep pride in your children and grandchildren and love and zeal for life in general..... thank you for sharing these and many other things with me and most of all thank you for treating me like one of your own.

Thank you papa for giving so much love to all your grandchildren. I remember that one time you grew a huge zucchini and the news reporters came and took a photo of us holding it. Thank you for for loving me and always making me feel special :heart:. Love you always.

A great memory is when The Federico's (Emilio, Josie, Diane, Annette) and Bettinelli's went to Italy in 1980! Enjoyed some great times! I also remember the trips (Vegas, etc) that my parents and Emilio and Josie and more Federico's and The Borrelli families took as well as the Saturday night poker games at each other's homes. My heart goes out to The Federico Family. Rest In Peace, Emilio.

One of my fondest memories of Emilio is when we used to travel to our house in Palm Coast when the kids were little. We would all go fishing or to Flagler Beach and then back to one of our houses for a cookout. Those were great times.
