Cervera, Shirley (O’Brien) of Revere on May 28, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late John P. Cervera. Devoted mother of Deborah Petersen and husband Louis of Revere, Laura Pedro and companion Lloyd Hebert of Everett, Carol Cervera and companion Anthony Brazzo of Everett, John Cervera and companion Patricia Sarro of Revere, Timothy Cervera and wife Sonia of Malden and Brian Cervera of Lawrence. Dear sister of the late William O’Brien, Marion Keith, Jean McNeely, George and John O’Brien. Cherished grandmother of 35, adoring great grandmother of 45 and great great grandmother of 3. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Shirley loved her family dearly and would do anything for them. She enjoyed bingo, shopping, cooking and running errands. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Thursday June 1, 2017 at 9:00am followed by a prayer service at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts Chapter, 480 Pleasant St, Watertown MA 02472. Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45pm.
